Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of financial results.
- Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and support external audits.
- Assist with the implementation and monitoring of internal controls to maintain compliance and safeguard company assets.
- Assist with tax compliance matters, including VAT and other regulatory filings.
- Support the forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow processes by providing accurate data and analysis.
- Assist in the development of accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Support the finance team with day-to-day queries and contribute to continuous process improvement.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and clear communication.
Requirements
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent).
- A recognised professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or actively working towards one.
- Previous experience in accounting, audit, or financial reporting.
- Good working knowledge of Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and good communication skills.
- A collaborative approach, with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
