Purchasing & Logistics Executive
Satariano is one of the longest established Companies in the bathroom, flooring and furniture business. As a result of continued growth and expansion we are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and experienced professionals to join the Company in the Purchasing and Logistics Department.
The Company is seeking to recruit a mature, reliable and energetic PURCHASING & LOGISTICS EXECUTIVE with the primary purpose to assist in running both the inventory management and procurement functions whilst offering day-to-day support to the Sales Team.
Job Description
Your core responsibilities will include:
- To actively manage our supplier base and ensure stock orders are placed with suppliers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain relationships with new and existing local and foreign suppliers and logistics companies.
- Expedite orders and keep the business updated on any delays or issues affecting supply.
- Regular communication with our suppliers to ensure optimum inventory levels of stocks are maintained.
- Liaising with Shipping Agents regarding all collection & deliveries of Shipments
- Input product costings and establish product pricing.
- File all relevant logistics documentation.
Requirements:
- Self-motivated with good organisational skills.
- Ability to concentrate on detail in a very busy environment with the possibility of constant interruptions.
- Previous work experience in a logistics role is a must.
- Proven ability to manage multiple activities in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Be a team player and a problem solver
- Fluency in English is a must.
- Microsoft office tools.
